The Strobe Security Motion Detector has two modes – the alarm mode, used to activate the alarm, and the chime mode that can be used when the threat of a security breach is relatively less. When in the alarm mode entry and exit delays with LED indicators are activated. The infra red remote control can be used to switch modes. The Strobe Wireless Security System also allows you to set personal programmable codes for additional security. Though the Strobe Security Alarm runs on batteries, it also supports a 9v AC adapter as a mode of power supply. Purchase of this adapter ensures that there is no risk of dead batteries rendering the system inactive. Four AA batteries and one 9 volt battery are required for the Strobe Security System and these are not included in the package.
Another interesting feature of the Strobe Wireless Security System is the availability of a strobe light. The light can be switched on or off using a switch provided with the system.
