Spyware and Adware are a malicious software that can harm your computer very badly. Generally adware displays unwanted banner ads or pop-up windows with advertisement to promote a website or product. Adware can be very annoying to you as a computer user and it can spoil your all good computer experience. Adware software are made for displaying advertisement on daily basis so it is possible that you will click them, and go to view the product which they are promoting. Spyware program are very similar to Adware, but it’s working is totally different way. Instead of displaying advertisement, they collect your personal information and sent back to the companies that have infected you with this spyware. It comes commonly from the Internet.
Spyware and Adware Protection
As far as avoiding the Adware and spyware protection concern, you would have to install a strong firewall protection software. The Firewall programs will stop unwanted contact with the internet while browsing the internet. Firewall disallow the Spyware to contact it’s vendors (those companies which install the Spyware on your computer) and therefore it will render the Spyware program useless.
Another way of pc protection from spyware and Adware is to install a security program which frequently scans your computer against to spyware and adware, you can sue for example Microsoft Anti-Spyware. Some spyware can able to install additional tool-bars in your Internet web browser window, and sometime when if you remove these extra tool-bars they may still return when you restart your computer. To check for additional tool-bars status under the “View” > “Tool-bars” in Internet Explorer or Firefox. If you are using Internet Explorer you should set you Internet security setting at high level. To change the security settings click the “Tools” menu of your Internet Explorer and go to the “Internet Option” Now go to the “Security” tab, Here you can set your security level high.
It is important thing to remember about Adwares and Spyware are that the programs are already installed on your computer before you try and get rid of it. Generally this is because they are made to be hidden from view, so that the people using infected computers do not suspect that the Spyware is actually there into the computer. Therefore when you try to remove the spyware from your computer you may discover that there are several pieces of spyware running on your computer, even though you may have not noticed them before.
